Why Closure and Balance Are Important
Now, when it comes to centrifuge bottles, one of the key things you have to keep in mind is not to call it tight. In case the bottles are not sealed properly, the contents can flow out. This can create a big mess and worse, injure someone if it splashes. That's why we want to make sure the lids are on really tight to keep everything safe. One more aspect is equalizing the bottle contents. What this means is we want to distribute everything evenly inside that bottle. If the weight isnt balanced, the bottle can wobble around as it spins. If it wobbles too much, it centrifuge bottle could crack or fall over, which would be super unsafe.
Storing and Handling Bottles
After we use the centrifuge bottles we need to be sure to store them properly. They centrifuge tube 500ml should, of course be stored somewhere safe and placed up high enough that they can't accidentally be tipped down. When a bottle falls, it breaks, spilling all its contents, which can cause a huge mess. We also should not bang the bottles around. If we touch the inside of the bottle with our fingers, we may add germs. This is bad because it can corrupt our experiment and lead to wrong outputs. In science, cleanliness is next to godliness.
